The Short Snorter Project
TEN SHILLINGS NEW ZEALAND  SHORT SNORTER
Serial Number: 2J 414067
This is a very well-worn 10 Shilling Note issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. It was originally part of a roll of
short snorters taped together with cellophane tape.  Remnants of two other short snorters (with 1 signature each) are
still taped to this note. This note is signed by Eleanor Roosevelt, among others. New Zealand was involved for all but
three of the 2179 days that constituted World War II.  This commitment was a great National Effort, with New Zealanders
fighting globally on land, sea and air.  It took the lives of one in every 150 New Zealanders
