This bill is in fairly good condition (for a short snorter) with some crispness and no pinholes. It may have been taped to a
longer roll of short snorters, and was detached for some reason. There are two very small remnants of cellophane tape
in the upper right corner and lower left corner on the face – otherwise there is no tape residue. Distinct folds in the left
and right hand vertical margins would indicate that the bill was probably taped to other bills. This is an excellent job of
tape removal.  Given the presence of several female signatures, a good guess is that the signers were possibly
members of the Diplomatic Corps. All signatures are in fountain pen, and the bill was in actual circulation during the war.
All of these factors render the bill genuine! -PM
